Resumen

The present article delineates the partial history of the rock painting known as “Quebrada Palo Pictography” (1962-1963 UNMSM), a painting that has been used as a main referent of this kind of rock art manifestation in Peru and that also has served as a comparative parameter in the analysis and study of this type of archaeological material.
